Study in Canada
Canada has an exceptional education system that is world-class. Student admissions have gone up exponentially and both the schools and the government have taken notice by opening the doors to people who wish to come and study here in Canada.
Work in Canada
In order for an employer to hire a foreign worker, they must obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). A positive LMIA proves that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job and that no Canadian worker is available to do that job. After a positive LMIA is obtained and the employer has been approved, the worker will need to apply for a Work Permit which will then give them the right to come to Canada to work legally.
Canada welcomes thousands of skilled workers every year in all types of occupations. There are many access points for skilled workers, who wish to come to Canada and stay permanently. It is possible to apply directly from overseas if you have the skills that are in demand, or alternatively, you may arrive as a Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) or as a Student that gains his/her work experience after graduation.
To prove your English proficiency, you’d be required to take the IELTS General Training test, which is the preferred test for immigration to Canada.
A study visa for Canada requires the Student to score at least 5.5 in each of the four IELTS bands requirements with an overall minimum score of 6.0 and above for undergraduate & diploma programs.
